The Senior Sales Executive is a key member of the wholesale team responsible for managing Major, Specialty and online accounts for JEN7.
This is a full time position at our New-York, NY offices.
Duties and Responsibilities
Financially responsible for achieving sales plans for JEN7 and working to exceed them.
Establish JEN7 annual sales plans in accordance with the company’s goals – monthly updated forecasts to plan with detail.
Develop relationship with buying teams.
Collect and analyze weekly retail selling.
Drive business through identifying key business opportunities with accounts (i.e. re-orders, swaps, issues, etc.)
Prepare for market appointments and present line to buying team.
Oversee order confirmation, shipping, chargeback, etc.
Manage returns, terms, discounts, advertising, credit issues, and markdown allowance for accounts.
Develop negotiations of seasonal financial and vendor plans.
Coordinate and send all advertising samples to account.
Knowledge of market and fashion trends, business environment, and competitors specifically within the women’s denim market.
Requirements and Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent from an accredited university and/or related sales experience .
5-7+ years of related experience for an apparel brand in the contemporary market.
Major, Specialty and online account management experience.
Strong Retail math and analytical skills.
Experience and knowledge with open-to-buys.
Influential and engaging verbal communication/presentation skills a must.
Must be able to travel by road and air, overnight stays and work some weekends when needed for market or account visits.
